FAQ

Are all items hand made?

Yes, every single item we sell will be hand made. 

In what ways are the items sustainably made?

We try to work with the most sustainable materials we can find for every element of the items. For some elements, this is easier than for others, but we will always try to find better and more susaintable opties.

For the base of the items and the added details, we solely work with thrifted materials. The yarns we use for wrapping will mostly be linen or hemp, or on occation wool. When buying our yarns, we will always look for the most sustainable options, such as plant dyed, GOTS or Oeko Tex certified, etc. 

Our stones and crystals come from small, local sellers. Not from cheap online stores or huge companies. 

The copper wire, for now, is the most difficult element to get properly sustainably, if we are being honest. But we will continue to search for better options, if possible.

In some designs we might use animal bones or antlers. These will always be ethically sourced. 

Are all item one of a kind?

We will never have multiple items that are exactly the same. However, some items might be more similar to each other than others. 

There might also be reoccuring elements on different items, should we have enough of that material to use it more than once.

Do you accept returns?

As per Dutch law, every customer will have 14 days after receiving their order to return their order. With the exeption of custom orders, these are non-refundable.

Do you accept custom orders?

Yes, we do make custom orders. However, there is a limit on the amount of custom orders we can work on, due to the extra work they bring.

Also, we would like you to keep in mind that, because we work with a lot of thrifted materials, we are in some ways limited in the materials we have available. Custom orders are no exeption to this potential limitation.

How would a custom order work?

For custom orders, you can contact us through the contact page on this webshop, or through a private message on Instagram.

We will let you know whether we have the time to work on a custom order for you as soon as possble.

We will then discuss which elements you would like to have in the design, for example yarn and copper wire colours, prefered stones/crystals, antler pieces, etc. Depending on the complexity of the requested custom order, we will try to give you an estimated price at this point.

We will then start working on a more detailed design based on our initial consultation. Once we have a design ready, we will contact you again to show you the design we came up with. We will continue consulting you, until we have a design we all agree on.

Once we have an agreed upon design, we will let you know the final price for the custom order (excluding shipping). We cannot give you a final price earlier, because we first need to know which materials will be used and how much time will go into making the item. At this point, we will ask you to pay us 30% of the price, before we start to actually make the item. 

Once the custom order is finished, we will send you a picture and you can give the final approval. When you are satisfied, we will arrange everything needed for the rest of the payment and shipping. Once we have received the payment, your custom order will be shipped.

Custom orders are non-refunable and cannot be returned.
