This design is a variation on the usual wrapped ring designs. The base is a thrifted wooden ring, which is only partially wrapped to show the texture of the wood and paint on the ring itself. Set inside the ring is a beautiful piece of mookaite, with shades of yellow, grey and off-white. To balance the colours nicely, the yarn used for the wrapping is a dark brown hemp cord and the stone is wrapped in antique bronze coloured copper wire.
It can be worn by tying the braided cord at your desired length.
